Start time: 7:00 a.m.
Parking and Packet Pick-up
Packet pick-up begins at 6:00 a.m. at the Happy Hollow Shelter facing East Broadway. You must be present to pick up your race day packet, which includes your souvenir t-shirt and zombie flags or human card. Please not that those who registered after October 26 will not receive a free t-shirt.
There are three parking areas around Stephens Lake Park:
- West lot off of Old U.S. Highway 63
- South lots off East Broadway near the Gordon and Collins Shelters
- North lot off Walnut Street
Race officials will be directing traffic on race day to help everyone find a space to park. Please carpool whenever possible to prevent congestion and save gas.
At the Start
Please arrive at the starting line well before 7:00 a.m., as race officials will be lining runners up according to human/zombie classification and pace group. (Runners will be organized with the fastest near the front to avoid bottlenecking.)
Hydration and First Aid
There are three aid stations located along the course, between 1K and 2K, between 2K and 3K and right before 4K. There will also be refreshments at the finish. Please do not loiter near aid stations. For the safety of you and other runners, please do not bunch at the finish line but proceed to the recovery area.
What to Wear
Zombie face paint, fake blood and/or zombie/human costumes are highly encouraged! Since it is November, we recommend that you dress in light layers according to the temperature. We will also have an area for gear check if you wish to check warm-ups.
